classWORKER

TextReader

js/foo_uie_jsplitter.js:4200

Streaming text reader returned by utils.OpenTextReader.

propertyWORKERreadonly

Closed

js/foo_uie_jsplitter.js:4236
Closed: boolean = false

Indicates whether the reader has been closed.

propertyWORKERreadonly

EOF

js/foo_uie_jsplitter.js:4226
EOF: boolean = false

Indicates that a clean end of file has been observed while reading.
This property does not report a closed reader or a read/decoding failure. Do not use it as a pre-read loop condition; use the return value of ReadLine to drive the loop, then inspect EOF when ReadLine() returns null.

methodWORKER

Close

js/foo_uie_jsplitter.js:4218
Close()

Closes the file. Calling Close() more than once is allowed.

Returns

boolean —

true if the reader is closed successfully; false if closing the file fails. Calling it again after a successful close returns true.

methodWORKER

ReadLine

js/foo_uie_jsplitter.js:4209
ReadLine()

Reads the next line and removes its line terminator.

Returns

?string —

The next decoded line, or null when no line can be returned. When null is returned, EOF is true for clean end of file and false for a read or decoding failure.

Throws

Error —

If the reader is closed.
